Easter Egg Frame

        There are two parts to this tutorial
        The first one is the creation of
        an easter egg. The second part is the
        frame itself. Once you have completed
        this tutorial you will have the option
        to save the frame as a pfr or tub for later use.

        For this tutorial you will need
        the following supplies.

Step 1   On to the tutorial, lets begin by creating an egg. First open an new transparent canvas 250 x 300 pixils. Set foreground color to #E7D6E6. load the EW_Easter_Egg. sel file from disk. Flood fill it with #E7D6E6.

 

Step 2   Go up to select all, float, then go to effects, 3d effects, cutout and apply these settings. selections, select none. Now go to effects, noise set it to 3.00.

Step 3   Now add a new raster layer, reset your foreground color back to white. with your spray can use these settings to spray lines like below. Now go to effects, blur. gaussian blur and set it to 3.00. Your now done with the egg and ready to resize it. At this point you can go to file, export, picture tube. Just name it and click ok.

Step 4   Now that you have the idea down, make a few more eggs but in different colors. making sure that when you use the cut out setting you make the shadow color the same color as the egg but a few shades darker. When you have enough move onto the frame. You will be using those egg tubes for decorating the frame later in the frame tutorial.
